Bulacan State University (BulSU) San Rafael Campus has secured approval from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) to establish a College of Medicine offered by a state university.

This makes BulSU the very first state university in the province and region that is authorized to offer a Medicine program.

Dr. Teody C. San Andres, the University President, extends his deep gratitude to the academic, non-academic personnel, and BulSU Technical Working Group, for their invaluable contributions that have earned the approval of CHED. Along with this is his sincerest thanks towards the trust to operate BulSU College of Medicine that is given by CHED and the respected members of the CHED Technical Panel for Medicine.

The University would also like to thank Senator Pia Cayetano, and Senator Joel Villanueva, the man behind the Doktor para sa Bayan Act, which has played a crucial role in advancing BulSU’s medical program initiative.

As stated by Dr. San Andres, “Shape the future of healthcare at the Bulacan State University San Rafael — Campus College of Medicine, where future healthcare heroes begin.” The transformative journey of the BulSU CON embarks the opportunity to redefine healthcare as the new program adheres to BulSU’s mission.

Official announcements and application procedures for BulSU San Rafael Campus — College of Medicine will be released accordingly.
